Allerheiligen is about 2 hours away by car from Basel and Frankfurt am Main. From the A5 Frankfurt-Basel, take the exit Achern and follow the signs to Hochschwarzwaldstraße, after about 13 km in Ottenhöfen turn right toward Allerheiligen. At the next major junction turn right again, after the next curve the Lierbach valley opens in which the Monastery Ruins Allerheiligen is located. There is a car park at the entrance to Allerheiligen, more parking spaces are available along the road in sufficient number.
Take the ICE to Offenburg, the S-Bahn OSB87370 (Ortenau-S-Bahn) in direction to Bad Griesbach (Black Forest) until Oppenau. In Oppenau, collective taxis to Allerheiligen are available. Journey times will be announced in due course.
Germanwings, Germania, Air Berlin and Ryanair fly to Karlsruhe/Baden Baden. From there, it takes about 45 minutes with a rented car; there is also a shuttle bus to Baden Baden, from where you can take the train to Oppenau to the collective taxi.
Many European cities fly to Aéroport Strasbourg and it is located approximately 50 minutes by car from Allerheiligen. The airport has a regional train connection, from which the collective taxis can be reached in Oppenau via Strasbourg.
