Ilka Schmidt-Schenk is a qualified orchestral musician and instrumental teacher, painter and leader of various song groups. As part of this, the School of Uncovering the Voice with Valborg Werbeck-Svärdström and in particular the School of Reformation of the Voice with Atmani have served as the fundamental basis for her vocal work. She also has a keen interest in researching sound phenomena with Cymatics and in its creative interpretation in the areas of music and painting.
